| Established on the 12th October 1991 with a paid-up
capital of RM9.0 million, PAISB is wholly owned by Selangor Agricultural
Development Corporation, a state government agency entrusted to the
development of agricultural sector and the social economic growth
in the state of Selangor. As a state agency, PAISB aims to effectively
fulfill its duties to catalyze the development of food production
and related sectors throughout the state whilst giving stronger emphasis
on entrepreneur intensification. SADC Group’s business turnover
exceeds RM500 million annually. |

Selangor Fresh Mart
Selangor Fresh Mart (SFM) is PAISB’s retail outlet. These outlets
were projected as the ‘sources of fresh perishables from the
farm’. SFMs were established mainly to assist farmers in marketing
their produces, hence minimise the role of middlemen. |

PAISB has actively import and export
agricultural and food related commodities and consumer products. Main
bulk of the

| Selangor Wholesale Market or widely
known as ‘Pasar Borong Selangor’ (PBS) is a new
wet market that serves the entire Southern Corridor of Selangor,
Perak and Northern part of Negeri Sembilan, is owned and managed
by PAISB. The modern and environmental friendly trading centre,
which was built at a cost of RM16 million, will be regarded
as a new landmark in wholesale business community. |
