Established
in Penang in 1973, Thye Huat Chan started as a trading house
concentrating on the importation and distribution of agricultural
and food products for the Malaysian market.
Thye Huat Chan Sdn Bhd currently imports and distributes more
than 100 different types of food products including beans and
pulses, spices, nuts, flour, jaggery powder (gula merah), perishable
items, canned food, rice vermicelli and other consumer foodstuff.
We are recognised as a highly reputable supplier for a wide
range of imported food products and is associated with premium
quality food products. Throughout the years,we have successfully
established a large and wide business network worldwide.
The company has a sizeable customer base about 2000 customers
which covers food manufacturers, grocery stores and supermarkets
spread across Malaysia. We employ a total of 160 dedicated staff
to support our operations in Penang, Kuala Lumpur and Johor
Bharu.
Thye Huat Chan Sdn Bhd has been an ISO 9002 - certified company
since 2001. It is our policy to source only the best quality
food products and to apply stringent Quality Assurance (QA)
to ensure that only products meeting our highest standards in
terms of hygiene and nutritional value leave our warehouses.
